About Me

The most important thing you need to know about me is that I love LOVE! I’m also young, fresh, energetic, and everyones best friend. I do take my duties as a marriage celebrant very seriously but am not adverse to a laugh or two or maybe even more. On your wedding day I’m the friendly face helping to calm your nerves and make sure your ceremony runs smoothly.

My performing career has spanned into presenting, MC’ing, childrens theatre, cruise ships, television series and commercials, voiceover, directing and tour managing.

I met my wonderful wife in a touring theatre production in 2010, I asked her to marry me in 2013 and I was approved to become a marriage celebrant whilst we were on our honeymoon in 2015. Since then I’ve been fortunate enough to have officiated over 400 wedding ceremonies, been featured on 7 News and Married at First Sight and am looking forward to so many more!

From day dot communication was prompt and friendly and he went to every length to make sure we were ready and comfortable come wedding day. He made the whole process super smooth and on the occasions we had to meet it was the one vendor meeting we thoroughly enjoyed.

Choosing Dave as our celebrant was one of the best choices we made.
From the beginning Dave was super quick and easy to communicate with. He was happy to offer ideas for our ceremony but also really flexible in tailoring a ceremony which suited us perfectly - and was happy to accomodate out last minute changes.
Dave also made doing the paperwork really easy and actually took the time to get to know us before our big day.
A number of our guests commented (without being asked) that Dave's tone was perfect - warm and friendly and funny - but without being over the top. A number said he was easily the best celebrant they'd encountered.
Very professional - couldn't recommend more highly.

We liked Dave immediately after having our first Skype meeting with him.
