When I approached Ann and asked if she would like to MC, our Aunty Lenna Maketoni's farewell memorial, to be held nearly 3 months after her death, she did not hesitate and instantly answered YES!!! And that it would be her privilege and honour...
Ann's research and organisational skills leading up to the memorial was methodical, analytical, and practical, with the right amount of humanness, to a painful event for family and friends, to be officially acknowledging our beloved Aunty Lenna's farewell...
Ann delivered a professional service during the memorial with, punctuality, grace, humility, and a sprinkle of humour, entertaining all who attended...
Feedback from people in attendance was that they were impressed by Ann and that she had done such a wonderful job... I agree wholeheartedly and I know without a doubt, that Lenna thought so too.
