Meet Deborah
I have been a celebrant for the past 15 years, here on the Sunshine Coast. Prior to that I worked in real estate for a time, sold engineering and mining equipment, owned a mining equipment supply company and a paint and decorator centre. I also travelled all over Queensland as a sales representative for a large industrial company.
I needed a change and some friends suggested that I train to be a celebrant as they believed that it would be the perfect vocation for my outgoing personality. It didn’t take much to persuade me to start a new career, one with a bit more romance attached to it. Being at the beginning of the most important and romantic day that a couple can have together sounded pretty good. Nothing brings me more pleasure than to see two starry eyed people make their vows and promises to each other at their wedding.
My work ethic has always been to give people more than they have asked for or expect. It gives me pleasure to see the thrill on their faces when I deliver something special to their day.
What makes me stand out amongst my peers? A question I was asked recently. I have a unique sense of humour which is mine alone. I have been told by my couples that I make them feel at ease and any anxiety about their wedding magically disappears.

I am also an experienced & qualified wedding & event planner…which may come in handy along your wedding planning journey & on the day.
As I hold vast experience I also offer On the Day Coordination, MC Services, should couples feel they wish to add this or choose an all inclusive stress free wedding package.
I would love to be considered as your wedding celebrant for your big wedding, perhaps a smaller wedding or more intimate elopement or legals only ceremony.
