About Jo Pierce

I am a Civil Celebrant in Bellingen NSW because I delight in creating deeply meaningful and personalised ceremonies for all of life’s most significant events, from weddings and funerals to other milestone celebrations.
I believe in honouring each story with integrity, weaving personal narratives, emotion, and storytelling into ceremonies that capture the essence of the lives and relationships I help celebrate. My services include everything from crafting custom vows to managing the legal aspects, tailored to suit celebrations of any size, from grand weddings to intimate gatherings.
With an inherent sense of fun and a background in music, I can also enhance ceremonies with flute, song and even pop up choirs!

Classic Wedding

$950

CLASSIC WEDDING
My professional fee for your wedding ceremony is $950.
My Classic Wedding ceremony includes:
• The legal preparation, lodgement and registration of your marriage with Births Deaths and Marriages, including the Official Certificate of Marriage.
• Consultations and communication by phone, email, in person or video call. You need to feel comfortable with me and I need to get to know you and your story, and I’m happy to do this in whatever way best suits you.
• A beautiful, personalised ceremony that is a unique expression of you.
• Ideas and inspiration for readings, rituals and resources.
• An onsite rehearsal the day before your big day.
• My arrival on the day 45 minutes before your ceremony to ensure everything is in place (I’ve lugged furniture, mended and ironed clothes, comforted crying children – it’s all part of the fun)
• The performance of your wedding ceremony.
• The use of my professional PA to ensure everyone can hear every beautiful moment.
• My travel within 50km of Bellingen. For ceremonies further afield, I charge an additional fee to cover my costs.

Your wedding is a celebration of you and your love. Working with you to create a ceremony that tells your story and fills your cup to overflowing is what I do best.

Musical Wedding

MUSICAL WEDDING
My professional fee for your wedding ceremony is $1,350
My Musical Wedding ceremony includes:
• The legal preparation, lodgement and registration of your marriage with Births Deaths and Marriages, including the Official Certificate of Marriage.
• Consultations and communication by phone, email, in person or video call. You need to feel comfortable with me and I need to get to know you and your story, and I’m happy to do this in whatever way best suits you.
• A beautiful, personalised ceremony that is a unique expression of you.
• Ideas and inspiration for readings, rituals and resources.
• An onsite rehearsal the day before your big day.

• Up to 3 songs of your choice sung by me as part of your ceremony.
• My teaching your guests a simple song in harmony to sing to you as part of your ceremony.
• My travel within 50km of Bellingen. For ceremonies further afield, I charge an additional fee to cover my costs.

Your wedding is a celebration of you and your love. Working with you to create a ceremony that tells your story and fills your cup to overflowing is what I do best.
