We were looking for a celebrant that was down to earth and modern and someone that we felt comfortable with. We were sure that we wanted a ceremony that was simple and represented who we were as a couple. A friend recommended Trudy and after meeting her there was no hesitation that she was the right one, no need to shop around. She was very understanding and knew instinctively what we were after from our ceremony. She was very friendly and we could have a laugh with her so there was never any stress in organising our ceremony. It was probably one of the easiest parts to organise thanks to Trudy. On the day Trudy was a great support to calm the nerves and she was extremely professional yet warm and friendly. Everything went off without a hitch. I have been so happy with Trudy's services that I have recommended her to 2 of my work colleagues for their weddings and will continue to spread the word. Thanks Trudy.

Neil and I asked to Trudy to travel with us to Palm Cove in Far North Queensland to conduct our marriage ceremony. Her warmth, professionalism and expertise, together with her input into our ceremony and our day, made it a truly memorable experience for us, our family and our friends. From our initial meeting Trudy showed that she was a kind, warm person who genuinely cared about all aspects of our wellbeing and ceremony requirements. Trudy had put together great ceremony samples to assist us in designing a ceremony that was perfect for us. Trudy assessed and 'read' our needs both as a couple and as individuals. She made suggestions that addressed our emotional needs - as our fathers had passed away Trudy suggested a special way to honour them and their contribution to our lives. Trudy also tailored the ceremony to reflect our lightness & humour that truly expresses who we both are. From the beginning Trudy felt like a friend we'd known for many years - like part of the family. In fact my Mother-in-Law, friends and family thought she was absolutely beautiful, inside & out! Prior to the wedding Trudy had accommodated all our needs to ensure a hassle-free lead up to our day with regular communication and a rehearsal. Trudy handled our ceremony with efficiency & professionalism, while being open, warm and attentive. Our wedding was perfect in so many ways.

From what I have heard, most people say that despite all the planning, their ceremony was a 'blur'. That certainly wasn't the case for us. I was worried that I would feel nervous in front of all of our family and friends, but on the day it felt like it was just the two of us. I remember every detail and felt like we got to say all the things we wanted to say. It really was perfect. Trudy was so relaxed and supportive and just seemed to understand exactly what we wanted. She was able to guide us through so I knew that I didn't have to worry about being nervous or forgetting what I wanted to say. But she guided us so gently that the ceremony was able to be very personal and intimate as well. We just felt that it was important to have someone with us who we felt comfortable with; and someone who understood.

Trudy married Jess & I in August 2011, on the day Trudy was fantastic, she was very professional and very friendly, and numerous people came back to us afterwards and commented on such a great choice of celebrant we had made. From the first time we met with Trudy we had total faith that our special day would be perfect. Trudy made us feel completely comfortable with our choices and she was a great help with all the formalities and offered great suggestions while allowing us to make it uniquely ours. We were absolutely thrilled with everything about our little wedding celebration. We both felt that we could not have chosen anyone better as our celebrant. We felt that our ceremony was a wonderful personalised reflection of us as a couple and as a family, and we loved every moment of it. You gave us exactly the right guidance in the planning, and allowed us to personalise as well as gleaning ideas which rounded out the day perfectly. The sand made it home and no problems through customs. Unfortunately it did get slightly shaken up, so looks a bit different now, but still a special memento for us. The certificate arrived here very speedily, so all paperwork is done and dusted… again thank you for your efficiency! Thank you again for ensuring our wedding day was such a special day. We had a good feeling about Trudy from our first email. It was stressful arranging a wedding from the UK and Trudy suggested Skype which enabled us to be sure we were happy with our choice of celebrant. There is a grounded and caring way about Trudy which held us prior to and throughout our wedding day. We absolutely knew Trudy was going to do a great job and our special day would not have been the same without her presence.

Trudy was a wonderful addition to our wedding party. She has a very calming way. She got to know us so she could craft the ceremony for our individuality. The sample vows were really useful with room to make them our own. I wouldn’t have known where to start. Trudy was willing to stand with us in the rain because we really wanted to be married on the beach. Fortunately the weather was perfect but it was comforting to know she was willing. We so appreciated Trudy’s guidance and friendly manner that we asked her to join us for our celebratory drinks and were very pleased when she accepted. I would highly recommend her as a celebrant.
