Before I emersed myself into the world of love stories, I spent years in professional services, nurturing and guiding colleagues towards their dreams. But you know what lights me up the most? Helping couples create unforgettable moments as they say, “I do,” renew their vows, or welcome new additions to their families with love and promises for the future.
I have THE best job in the world, and I LOVE love! Love knows no bounds in my book. That’s why I’m all about embracing everyone for who they are and celebrating love in all its forms.
So who am I?
I was born and raised in Glenelg, with a stint in London, and now living in the spectacular Glenelg, I’m a proud South Aussie through and through.
From our world-class wines to our stunning beaches, there’s no place like home.
When I’m not crafting ceremonies, I’m likely dreaming of our next holiday! Charlie, my partner in crime (you’ll spot him helping out at your ceremony), and I are avid travellers. Give us a destination, and we’ll be thrilled to pack our bags and go!
With 7 children between us and I think we currently have around 13 grandkids (our family just keeps growing!), family time is precious to us. Whether it’s a big dinner or a beach stroll, we cherish every moment together and our furry friend Ollie, the Cavoodle, is always by our side.
I’ve built an amazing business as a Marriage Celebrant, specialising in ceremonies packed with fun, laughter, and those heart-melting “awws”.
Claps, laughs, cheers, and maybe a tear or two – it’s a party where everyone’s in on the magic!
But enough about me – I want to hear all about you and your vision for your special day!

I come from a professional background as a project manager and my creative background is a passion for writing. I strive for the highest standards in customer service. No job is too big or too small. All questions are good questions. I treat all my clients with the utmost respect and professionalism.

Getting to know each other is the first step and I offer a free, no obligation meeting at a central location so I can learn about you, and you can decide if I’m right for you. There I’ll explain more about my services, my fees and answer all the questions you might have.
When I’m not immersed in my celebrant work, I indulge my foodie passions, my commitment to fitness and wellbeing and taking care of my family (even those who can take care of themselves). I live in beautiful Strathalbyn with my husband, adult child and our rescue cat. I believe you can never have too many books, too many pet photos and too much time with the people you love.

So you’ve decided to get hitched – well that’s cause for celebration because to commit to one person and wanting to declare it either publicly with all your family and friends or privately with just a few, is such a significant step in your journey.

My easy going personality and style will help keep the stress levels down. I will guide you through what needs to be done legally, and creat a ceremony which tells your story, is authentic, relaxed and goes with the flow. I may even stray off the script but only with your permission of course :)

As I am a bit of a gypsy by heart, I am happy to travel, and have travelled to Queensland from Adelaide for a wedding. Full disclosure – a fun, family affair – it was my neice’s.

I am also available for committment, renewal of vows and naming ceremonies, as well as ceremonies and rituals following a loss  from a relationship – a funeral, a divorce (as an individual or couple), or loss of a pet.

I am a Wedding enthusiast and believe in the spiritual and binding union of MARRIAGE.

My love and experience in Weddings, goes back to my childhood where I spent 100’s of hours with my mother who designed and made beautiful wedding gowns. As I listened to these brides and their emotions that went from joy & excitement to stress and doubt, I learnt myself that marriages are a significant and memorable time in ones life that tests couples devotion for each other.

My intention is to reignite Marriages, to unite couples and provide a ceremony that is made to fit you.

I do Micro Weddings, Elopements, Beach, Backyard, Garden Weddings, First marriages and 2nd, 3rd, 4th time around marriages.
