Rosie Beaton

To explain how amazing an experience it was/is to have Rosie as our celebrant starts with a Frenzal Rhomb / Nancy Vandal gig at The Metro in 2009. We both noticed her seated a few rows back and said to each other, "That's Rosie Beaton!" If we'd only known then how Rosie would come to be such an important part of our lives some 7 years later, we probably would have run up and pashed her! We are so honoured to have been Rosie's first wedding gig! She went above and beyond for us, regularly checking in to remind us to get sorted, and helping us customise our ceremony, which we wanted to ensure was a celebration of equality, love and independence, also for our guests whose marriage rights the law is yet to recognise. Rosie got it. She got us and made our day something truly extra special. Plus she stayed around for the party, had a boogie and met the family! Talk about lifetime bragging rights for us 90s/noughties triple j kids!!!

You know what you're getting when you choose Rosie - chilled, open and professional. Our wedding was chilled and went exactly to plan - that all started with Rosie's ceremony. She even hung around to chat to the fan girls! Best. Celebrant. Ever.

We can not thank Rosie enough for making our day so wonderful! I can confidently say It would not of been the same without Rosie there. Rosie made everyone feel welcome and definitely helped start the party.

Last week, we were married in the Hunter Valley by the one and only Rosie Beaton. From the moment I spoke to her on the phone, I knew she was the real deal. It was if I was calling an old friend, completely down to earth, charming and on the ball. We were laughing and talking about the big day in no time. From that conversation alone, we knew Rosie was the right fit and she didn't disappoint. Rosie is an absolute professional, completely open minded, optimistic and willing to go on whatever journey you wish, she genuinely just wants the day to be full of absolute happiness, and went out of her way to do so for us! Starting with a blank canvas, we met up with Rosie at a local bar and were soon getting to know each other. Her enthusiasm was infectious and in no time the day was beginning to take shape. She was full of life and good advice without being forceful or intrusive, her main aim was to understand us as people so she could reflect it in our ceremony. I was particularly taken aback by the amount of time Rosie lent us, whether it was via a quick text, a long email or a chat on the phone, she was always checking in to see how we were going and making sure everything was organised! On the day of the wedding, I arrived at the chapel, Rosie was there, setting up, talking to everyone and making sure everything was double checked and ready to go. It was very calming and despite the 40 degree weather Rosie always had a smile on her face. Rosie controlled the crowd beautifully and brought a real sense of family and intimacy to our ceremony. She articulated our story perfectly and guided us through the whole experience. Our friends laughed, cried and cheered and it was exactly want we wanted. Rosie is a true gem and we couldn't be happier. Getting married can be stressful and overwhelming. Rosie did her best to eliminate those things and set the tone for what turned out to be one hell of a wedding. Thank you for being you Rosie!

We couldn't have hoped for a better ceremony. Rosie was everything we thought she might be from the moment we met her; fun, thorough, charismatic, thoughtful, tastefully hilarious, open minded, and very good at her job. A truly dedicated professional. She was tireless in the way that she helped us on our overwhelming task of making our ceremony our very own, both minor and major details. Of course she has excellent sound equipment and knows her way around a microphone. Thank you so much Rosie for helping us to create such a fantastic ceremony. A lot of your time, effort and thought went into it. We're glad we gave you free-reign over what to say for a lot of it, it made our ceremony such a fun surprise for both us and our guests. You cared enough and got to know us well enough to make that awesome. We loved it! Great job. Rock n Roll forever.

Rosie was amazing. She helped guide us in making decisions about the ceremony and encouraged us to step outside our comfort zone. She pointed out some ideas that we hadn't thought of and was very knowledgeable. We ended up with a ceremony that was perfectly 'us.' She was very understanding when our lives were unexpectedly more complicated than expected in the weeks leading up to the wedding. She didn't even mind that we gave her our vows less than 24 hours before the ceremony. She was relaxed, genuinely friendly and very supportive. Rosie created a ceremony perfect for us and 3 weeks later people are still telling me about what a good job they think she did. Thanks Rosie!

Rosie is amazing. Her energy and enthusiasm helped to create the most beautiful ceremony. No task is too much for Rosie. She has a knack for creating a ceremony that really reflects the couple she is marrying. From the first conversation with Rosie, I knew she was the only person I wanted to meet with. Rosie managed the whole process and it was perfect. Our guests were so impressed with Rosie. We were so happy to have Rosie officiate our wedding. We have a newborn baby and can think of no one else other than Rosie who we would love to do a naming day for our son.

Rosie was amazing! Right from when we read her profile on her webpage we knew that she was the celebrant for us! And then we thought we may have left to late to secure her but it was meant to be. She is on our page, such a pleasure to deal with it felt like a friend from the first initial phone call. She put our minds at ease throughout the whole planning process and made it stress free.
