At Cordelia Park in Jensen, we are delighted to offer a designated space for couples to celebrate their romantic wedding ceremonies amidst the stunning, natural beauty of Queensland's rustic bushland. This private space features the majestic ancient Tamarind Tree, a remarkable centrepiece that has stood proudly since the early 1970's. Known for its resilience, Tamarind Trees can thrive in various climates for up to 200 years, making them a symbol of longevity, just like your marriage. In many cultures, this sacred tree embodies nourishment, respect, and authority, creating a truly meaningful setting for your vows.
Imagine saying "I do” alongside the graceful branches of our Tamarind Tree—an unforgettable backdrop for your special day.
We recommend hosting ceremonies at Cordelia Park during our winter months, from May to September. For weddings in the warmer and occasionally wet months, from October to April, the ideal times are sunrise or prior to 10am, as well as 4pm until just before sunset.
At Cordelia Park, you will have access to the Tamarind Tree paddock for 1 1/2 hours, allowing you ample time for your ceremony and to capture beautiful photographs with your guests.
For an extra touch of magic, you might even spot wild kangaroos gracefully bouncing by during the ceremony, adding an enchanting element to your wedding photos. Of course, this is not a guarantee as our native wildlife are not under our control.
At Cordelia Park, we encourage you to personalise the space to reflect your unique vision. Couples are welcome to bring their own confetti, rice, dried flower petals, candles, tiki-torches, or bubbles to enhance the ceremony atmosphere.
I can also provide pricing for these extras, which can be included in your total package, or you may choose to supply your own and bring them along on rehearsal day, so we are ready.
If you wish to toast your nuptials, please bring your preferred champagne or beverage of choice. As I do not hold a liquor permit, all alcohol must be supplied by you.
Ceremonies at this location come with the Timeless Country package, which boasts loads of extras for my couples, making your day as stress free as possible.
Mandatory: The happy couple must be 18+ and 2 witnesses 18+
A non-refundable booking fee of $300 is due on receiving your NOIM and secures your date and time into the calendar.

The Cordelia Park package includes:
- Initial consultation
- All administration
- I complete your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) for Births, Deaths, and Marriages (BDM)
- I supply a complimentary Decorative Ceremony certificate
- Arrange individual consent meetings (now legally req)
- The Happily, Ever…Before and After booklet containing important legal information
- One wedding date change (conditions apply)
- Plugged-in ceremony with all the ‘happily ever after’ feels
- Full rehearsal the day before your ceremony and pre-ceremony brief (if req)
- Decorated signing area, table and two chairs
- Script writing assistance for personal vows (if req)
- Guests are capped at 20 people, including (children from 3-17yrs) seating is provided
- Complementary bottles of water for all guest on ceremony day
- I will collaborate with the sound crew, photographer, your aunty, or the videographer

- A dressed Arbor,
- Ring the wedding bell mounted on a 5meter tower,

Vendor hires are welcome on site, so long as they are independently powered and fully staffed.

I'm fully registered for online reporting directly to Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages (RBDM). My clients are prompted by RBDM for their legal marriage certificate, once the marriage documents have been received by the department. Clients have a choice of ordering one or two certificates, either standard or commemorative, and those costs are directly between you the department.
