Committee role and responsibilities

The AMC Executive Committee is responsible for governing the organisation and ensuring that it operates in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines. The AMC establish policies, procedures, and protocols to govern the conduct of celebrants and maintain the integrity of the association.

The committee represents the interests of celebrants and the celebrant profession to external stakeholders, including government bodies, regulatory authorities, and industry associations. They advocate for the rights, recognition, and professional standing of celebrants within the wedding and celebrant industry.

The executive committee formulates and updates policies that govern the conduct and responsibilities of AMC celebrants. These policies may cover areas such as ethical conduct, professional standards, code of practice, and continuing professional development requirements.

The committee provides support and resources to AMC celebrants. This may include offering guidance on legal requirements, professional development opportunities, networking events, and access to relevant information and updates.

The executive committee makes important decisions regarding the organisation, including financial matters, membership criteria, accreditation processes, and any other significant matters affecting AMC celebrants.
