New and Renewal Membership Terms and Conditions
1. ABOUT YOU
1.1. Your Celebrant Membership Name must be your legal name registered with the Attorney General’s Department (for Celebrant Members)
1.2. Information and materials shared to your AMC website Celebrant Profile must be original work. All photos must have permission of the parties and photographer.
1.3. Members are placed in a geographic region for Celebrant meetings and support – you agree to allow your details to be shared with your Regional Coordinator.
1.4. You must not share or copy AMC materials with non-Members (including but not limited to newsletters, education sessions and other Member-only materials). If you have any questions, email president@marriagecelebrants.org.au
1.5. You agree to always be helpful and proactive on AMC Member forums and communications to support and foster fellow Celebrants.
1.6. You agree to abide by the AMC Constitution, Code of Conduct, Objects, all policies and procedures and any other AMC requests to always uphold AMC’s good reputation.
2. ABOUT AMC
2.1. AMC may edit website profiles if there are any concerns including, but not limited, privacy copyright or potential breach of Australian laws.
2.2. AMC information is stored securely and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your information to third parties.
2.3. As a registered incorporated association AMC must keep a register of current and former members under the Associations Incorporated Act NSW.
2.4. AMC is a not-for-profit organisation. Your Committee are volunteers and authorised Celebrants from across Australia. They donate their time and expertise to help AMC Members.
3. MEMBERSHIP
Important information on AMC Membership is in our Constitution.
3.1. The AMC Membership year is 1 July to 30 June. Pro-rata memberships may apply to new Members and then convert to the next full financial year on renewal.
3.2 Details and cost of Memberships are set out on our website. AMC Membership packages may be amended, added to or removed at any time at AMC discretion.
3.3. Your Membership cannot be transferred to another person and is non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law – see AMC Constitution.
4. PAYMENTS
4.1. AMC payments are made through and processed by a third-party processor, Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s terms and conditions. By making a payment, you are also agreeing to Stripe’s T&Cs.
4.2. If you have any concerns about using this provider, you may request AMC’s EFTPOS payments by contacting info@marriagecelebrants.org.au
4.3. AMC reserves the right to change it third party payment processer at AMC’s discretion at any time.
