I got into the celebrant business when my partner’s sister asked me to be a stand-in celebrant for her wedding (with a real celebrant doing the legal parts but with me doing everything else). I couldn’t believe how much fun it was! I had members from both families telling me I’d found my calling and ended up being the stand-in celebrant for her brother’s wedding too. After doing my second wedding as an unofficial celebrant, I knew I needed to do this for real.

I live in Melbourne; however, I like to travel and I am qualified to perform a wedding ceremony in any State in Australia. You won’t be charged for the travel – just accommodation!

I love to make a ceremony all about the couple. I’ll help with the planning and do my utmost to make the day an exceptional one for the couple, as well as friends and family.

More specifically, Andrew conducts ceremonies respecting that they are serious and important occasion, but his popularity as a celebrant is in recognition that he writes and delivers a uniquely personal ceremony for each and every couple perfectly reflecting their personalities and preferences.

Andrew loves really getting to know his couples … and that ensures that he keeps it “real” ….. he will tell your story the way you want it told …. you definitely won’t get fluffy talk from him like “love is watching the sun rise together” …. and his aim is to make your ceremony “the best ever seen” in the eyes of your guests … an experience that will set the scene for a great party to follow!

Andrew is a very experienced celebrant with over 1100 ceremonies under his belt, he has been profiled in major bridal magazines, and for eight years has been awarded the honour of being recognised as Victoria’s best male celebrant by the Australian Bridal Industry Academy!
