I got into the celebrant business when my partner’s sister asked me to be a stand-in celebrant for her wedding (with a real celebrant doing the legal parts but with me doing everything else). I couldn’t believe how much fun it was! I had members from both families telling me I’d found my calling and ended up being the stand-in celebrant for her brother’s wedding too.  I have satisfied many couples over the years, from the private, secret ceremony by outsourcing the witnesses on the day (we can provide the witnesses for the pair) to a 50 -100 gathering traditional indoor and outdoor ceremony.
