Yes—helping you write your vows and shape your ceremony is one of the most valuable roles a celebrant can play.

While every celebrant is different, most AMC celebrants are trained to guide you through:

  • Writing personal, meaningful vows

  • Choosing the tone and structure of your ceremony (romantic, light-hearted, formal, etc.)

  • Selecting readings, music, or rituals

  • Creating a flow that reflects your story, values, and personality

Support with vows might include:

  • Templates or samples to inspire you

  • Advice on length, tone, and structure

  • Editing or co-writing (without losing your voice!)

  • Ensuring your personal vows fit around the legal vows, which must be said exactly as required

Ceremony planning might include:

  • Rehearsals and run sheets

  • Coordinating with photographers, musicians, or venue staff

  • Planning special entrances, rituals, or cultural inclusions

  • Suggesting ways to honour family or include children

AMC celebrants don’t just “turn up on the day”—they’re your partner in planning a ceremony that feels truly you.
