I stumbled along Melanie by accident and I'm so glad I did! As someone with anxiety, planning a wedding was honestly the last thing i wanted to do. I was overwhelmed and confused. From the first email Melanie was the calm assurance that I needed. She gave me the steps of what we needed to do, outlined it perfectly and helped it all seem doable. The first video chat was excellent, so glad she was flexible to do it via zoom. We got along so well - I had planned a 'sneaky geek' wedding and all the quirks I told her were welcomed and celebrated. When we met up, she had all the legal documents set. She made my partner and I feel so calm, allowing us to be excited not stressed. The script was amazing, she had used bits of our life story I didn't even remember talking about. Reading our favourite memories being brought to life in the draft and then hearing them on the day was beautiful. Melanie was patient, especially when we took ages to do our own vows and check the script but she kept us on time. On the day, she found us for the signatures- I didn't need to worry about it, she just popped up! The ceremony went by beautifully, people commented on her and having her do the music added ease. I also loved the chair and table set up - the pen was a nice touch. After the ceremony, Melanie still helped me with my name changing questions well after the wedding. Melanie was an amazing celebrant and made our day so special and full of love. She took care of everything and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Melanie came to our house multiple times to help with our script and we loved her caring nature, her attitude to help and her beautiful personality. By the time we got married it felt like we were being married by a close friend which made the day even more special. We highly recommend Melanie for her Celebrant Services. We got married on Nov 21st and Melanie has been amazing throughout, making sure we were happy with every detail. Working together to create a lovely ceremony speech and to have everything timed perfectly with the music to ensure everything was perfect on the day. We would highly recommend Melanie to anyone, such a kind loving lady and nothing is too much trouble. Melanie was the perfect celebrant for us. We were quite particular with what we didn't want and Melanie was able to get it spot on with minimal input from us. We were busy organising a wedding with only 4 weeks to spare and Melanie just made it all happen, anyone would have thought we'd been planning it for 12 months. We were married on 4th of September and Melanie was just incredible throughout the entire process. We had to bring our wedding forward and in turn we needed a new celebrant. Melanie was recommended to me and as soon as we spoke she was so calming and reassuring that everything would be okay. We knew she was the celebrant we needed and wanted. Throughout my many emails and questions nothing was ever to much of a hassle. Melanie was so supportive and made our day go smoothly.
